Giving

If you think of Vineyard as your church home, giving regularly is a way to be a part of the work we’re doing in and outside of our church. We love that we get to play a part in the generosity God extends to others through our benevolence fund, Easter giveaway, Sunday celebrations, ministry of presence, and more. You made it happen through your prayers, service, and financial gifts!

All Ages Worship Service | October 29th

Kids, teens, and adults will worship, wonder, celebrate, and learn together in our 5th Sunday intergenerational worship service.

Youth Group Bowling

September Board Meeting Notes

A summary of September's board meeting is below. The next church board meeting is on October 29th. You can email the board at a2vineyardboard@annarborvineyard.org. If you may be interested in joining the church board next year, please speak with Pastor Donnell.

  • Donnell presented his key priorities for the next few months: 18-month vision, retention & growth, and integrating members in to leadership. The vision team will finalize their initial assignment in the next month and pass their work off to the staff to turn the vision into a strategic plan. Donnell will present his plans for leadership integration and retention/growth at the October 29 board meeting.
  • Good news we are out of default! We are moving forward in mortgage negotiations with two banks.
  • We have several renters either in negotiations or renting our space, including a new daycare. We spent a while at this meeting negotiating compassionate but boundary-full early lease termination terms for our current daycare renter (which have since been accepted).
  • We formally acknowledge Sue Chi for her work on our mortgage and finance team.
  • We approved a quote to turn our nonfunctional door into a functional window. We formally acknowledge Tyrone Kelsey for his work on making this dream a reality.
  • A Pastoral Evaluation process started over the summer is still underway.
  • We are in need of several more board members.

Church Business Meeting | November 12th

Join Church staff and board members after church for an update on church finances. We'll review progress and changes to the annual budget, mortgage, and renters. If you have specific topics you'd like to hear about or questions in mind, let Pastor Donnell know.

Homeless Ministry Donations Needed!

Homeless Ministry could use specific donations of chocolate Ensure, canned soup (with a pop-top, NOT condensed), granola bars, tuna in packets (NOT canned), and bottled water. Questions? Ask Pastor Shaun at shaun.walker@annarborvineyard.com or text him at 734-945-7670

Sunday Morning Prayer

Join us at 10:15am in office A2 (office to the right in the gallery area) each Sunday to pray for our service and our church community.

Youth Group

6th-12th grade students are invited to gather in the youth room on the first and third Sundays of the month during the service from 11:00am-12:15pm. We start youth group with a game or an activity. There are donuts or some type of treat followed by a quick lesson and faith based discussion. We typically end by sharing prayer requests.

Intercessory Prayer

If you want to pray together for our church, community, and loved ones, join our intercessors group online. Contact intercessors@annarborvineyard.org for details.

Blue Prayer Cards

Fill out our online prayer card, and the pastoral staff will pray for you.

One-on-One Prayer

If you would like someone to pray for you personally, email prayerteam@annarborvineyard.org with your name and phone number. Someone on our prayer team will give you a call.
