New to the Vineyard? Welcome!

Are you new to our community? Let us know by filling out a Welcome Card and we'll get in touch with you! This is the best way to get connected at our church and to let us know how we can best serve you.

Giving

If you think of Vineyard as your church home, giving regularly is a way to be a part of the work we’re doing in and outside of our church. We love that we get to play a part in the generosity God extends to others through our benevolence fund, Easter giveaway, Sunday celebrations, ministry of presence, and more. You made it happen through your prayers, service, and financial gifts!

Curious about baptism? Join Pastor Donnell before the church service for a conversation about the whats and whys of baptism in the Bible and in church traditions. Baptism Sunday is on December 17, but you don’t have to commit to getting baptized in order to come to this class.

Everyone is welcome to bring cookies, please have a list of ingredients/allergens visible so every- one can partake safely.

Baptism Sunday | December 17

Baptism Sunday is on December 17. Baptism is first and foremost an outward sign of an inward spiritual union with Christ. It is a sign and symbol of spiritual regeneration and reconciliation with Jesus and his body (the church) and his cause (the Church’s mission) (John 1:11-13; 3:18; James 1:17-18; 1 Peter 1:3-5.) Going under the water symbolizes Christ’s death. Coming up out of the water symbolizes your identity with Christ’s resurrection. Your life is intertwined and united with Christ’s life, death, burial, and resurrection (Rom. 6:1-14; 2 Cor. 5:17; Col. 2:12.)

Advent Bible Study | December 3, 10, &17 at 9:30am

How do the gospel writers "decorate for Christmas"? Each week we'll read the opening 2-3 chapters of one book (Matthew, Luke, and John) and discuss the unique ways each one presents the beginning of Jesus' story. You're invited to purchase a copy of "Christmas in the Four Gospel Homes" and/or "The First Nations Version New Testament" for this study, but these are optional readings. Sign up in the lobby or talk to Pastor Marissa!
